The conference will address the theory, design, research, discovery and development of new materials and nanotechnologies in relation to the field of energy applications (e.g. in energy harvesting, production, storage, transfer and use, etc.). NANOENERGY aims to bring together academia, industries and policy makers interested in the application of nanotechnology in the energy sector. The conference will discuss the state-of-the-art and latest development of nanotechnology, nanomaterialsand thin filmsfor energy applications but also investigate possible avenues ahead. High-level experts both from academia and industry will addresskey issues relating to the topics of this conference. A wide range of disciplines will be included from theory to experiments, device development, technology demonstration, manufacture and scale-up of nanotechnology applied to energy will be covered. Exhibits from UCL nanomaterials and nanotechnology laboraties will be on display and visits to state-of-the-art nano-related labs in UCL London (including those associated with the London Centre for Nanotechnology) will also be arranged.
